#BizagiLIVE Q&A, August 2015

By

Hello and thank you to all the attendees of #BizagiLive. You were a wonderful audience and it was a pleasure to take your questions.

In case you missed our session, here are some of the questions raised by your peers.

1. Can Bizagi artifacts be version controlled?

As you’d expect from a collaborative environment, Bizagi offers full version control. Let’s say you want to check your processes in/out, deploy a new version, version-control my forms or business rules. Bizagi maintains an internal audit log for all these things.

Externally, when we deploy a new version of our business process, we can run this alongside any existing cases that are running, and indeed, we can roll back a previous version of a process and use that as the current active one.

2. How can I connect with SAP from Bizagi?

We have an out-of-the-box Connector, a graphical drag and drop tool that makes it easy to connect to any SAP functionality that is exposed on that system. Best of all, you can do this without having to write code. Learn more about SAP + Bizagi Integration or download our free whitepaper: How Can BPMS Add Value to SAP?

3. Does Bizagi offer training?

We offer a full and comprehensive training program available to both prospects and customers. Visit our Learning pages to discover which BPM Learning Journey is right for your role and level of knowledge. We also offer self-paced training, complete with tests and certification, as well as our popular online, instructor-led courses. Check out the Bizagi Course Calendar.

4. Do I have to replace my existing infrastructure if I choose Bizagi?

No, Bizagi is about gluing existing elements together with a process layer. We recognize that organizational and functional silos exist in every organization – our aim is to get them talking. Learn more about Bizagi Integration.

5. Does Bizagi support multiple languages?

Yes, it supports 11 languages out-of-the-box and also contains the mechanisms to localize your application to any language – for example, the Labels, forms, fields that you design in your data model. This is all managed via Bizagi Studio. Learn more about Multilanguage in Bizagi.

6. I know that Bizagi Modeler is free, but what about Studio?

Good news! You can also automate your processes for free with Bizagi Studio. We’re really proud of this part of the Suite but it seems not many of you know about it. It allows you to run unlimited processes for up to 20 participants in a test environment. Click here to download our free paper by Sandy Kemsley to learn the benefits of process automation or Download Bizagi Studio to get started.

7. Can Bizagi integrate with my CRM?

Our platform is designed to integrate with your CRM (or indeed, any legacy system or app) in a fast, scalable and cost-effective way. We provide a toolkit – the Bizagi Enterprise Mapping Layer (EML) which connects via Web or REST services. Our reusable APIs connect your processes to your CRM (or your SharePoint, or your ECM…) without programming, delivering better performance with less effort.

8. How long does it take to implement Bizagi?

We can model, automate and deploy your first process in just seven weeks. This is the first step of our Spark Framework. Using agile methods, we work together to deliver a tightly defined package which involves selecting the best candidates for process improvement. The diagram below shows all the steps we follow to ensure you see results in a very short time.

9. Do BAM reports help track KPIs?

Bizagi provides management indicators to make real-time and historical data easy to interpret. BAM (Business Activity Monitoring) is an analysis tool that allows you to graphically view information about the current state of ongoing cases. On the other hand, the Analytics Report provides a graphical view of closed cases –historical data. Both the BAM and Analytics Report help visualise, monitor and control the operation of your business, and provide the necessary data to track and analyse business KPIs for continuous improvement.

10. Is it possible to adjust/customize the SharePoint integration?

Bizagi’s architecture offers a powerful UI service which promotes easy reusability and integration with other applications; this reusability is enhanced with the capabilities of Bizagi Web Parts. Bizagi Web Parts for SharePoint provides a seamless integration option between Bizagi and SharePoint, without programming. It supports Single Sign-On (SSO) capabilities and offers further customization options to adapt to your business’ particular needs.

That’s all folks! Thanks again for being such a great audience and we look forward to seeing you at the next #BizagiLIVE session.
