Re-align Process and Data To Improve Your Customer-Centricity

Thank you very much for joining Bizagi’s webinar yesterday, opened by our guest speaker Clay Richardson of Forrester Research. We hope that the Clay’s brief summary of Forrester’s research & market trends related to the importance of data in the process as well as the introduction of Data Virtualization concept was informative.

Here at Bizagi we believe we coined the Data Virtualization concept long before analysts started to talk about it; in our view a sound BPMS architecture needs to be built ground up, taking into account a clean separation of Data from the Process layers and ease of data connectivity. So we trust that the Bizagi demo that followed Clay’s introduction demonstrated our strong data virtualization capabilities and ease of connecting data across various data sources.

We are delighted that over 200 of you joined in the webinar, and we had plenty of requests for the recording and slides, so here are the webinar resources:

As we run out of time here are the answers to remaining questions:

  • Can Bizagi be used to create and maintain the master data as well? (from Dion)

Data virtualization in Bizagi is a full two-way interchange. In our webinar demonstration we were searching and retrieving information from an external data source, but we could easily use a different process design and use Bizagi to maintain the master data.

  • Can you please comment how Data Virtualization relates to Big Data? (from Martin)

Bizagi’s Data Virtualization provides the integration mechanism to various external data repositories; it connects and analyses the information after it has been stored. So once this first challenge related to Big Data is tackled, Bizagi’s Data Virtualization can greatly assist with the Big Data management by reducing the data footprint, virtualizing the reuse and storage of the data. With Bizagi, Big Data can be transformed into small data and managed like virtual data.

Bizagi will help you to access your Big Data in the best possible way, and using our Reporting capabilities to draw useful conclusions depending on the patterns your identify.
