Thank you very much to all of you who attended our webinar last week on BPMS + SharePoint, implemented as a dual portal by our customer adidas Group.

Below you can find the slides and the complete recording, with the extensive 20-minute Q&A session. Your participation made this webinar a great event and even though we had 20 minutes dedicated to answering your questions, there were few left unanswered so I would like to cover them here:

Q: Can you compare Bizagi to Blueworks Live? (by Marcel)

Blueworks Live is a cloud-based business process modeler, with very limited automation capabilities. Only two types of business processes are allowed: workflow (simple sequential/parallel activities) and checklist. Bizagi is complete solution for BPM, supporting modeling as well as automation for the full set of BPMN elements and for highly complex business processes.

Bizagi comes with a series of built-in features, tools and wizards for automating business processes, including, but not limited to: graphical data modeller, shared data model & data virtualization, graphical UI designer, business rules engine, enhanced mobile support, built-in and custom made reports on ongoing and historical cases.

Finally, Bizagi’s unique logical and physical architecture provides an agile and highly scalable solution, withstanding the workload of the largest BPM deployments in the world.

Q: Which other Microsoft Office application we can integrate with Bizagi? (by William)

Bizagi integrates with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, CRM and also Access.

Q: Which SharePoint versions does Bizagi support? (by Alexandre)

Bizagi supports SharePoint 2007, 2010 and 2013.

Q: How is user licensing handled where there is a large number of external customer users via WordPress or the web site? (by Peter)

Bizagi offers a special kind of license for external users. It is called Initiator License, and gives users the right to initiate cases and participate in subsequent activities (i.e. enter additional info, adjust/update existing information or documents) of the same case they initiated. Initiator Licenses only apply to users who are not employees of the company that licensed Bizagi. For internal users (employees) full licenses must be purchased irrespective of the way they use Bizagi. However this only applies to using Bizagi Engine, as Modeler and Studio (automation) are offered for free.

Initiators are licensed by user bands (1-1000, 1001-10000, etc.), not by individual users. Like in the case of full licenses, 2 licensing terms are available: Perpetual and Subscription (1-year). Choose the one that best fits your needs.
